“Talking Turkey: Helping Clients who are Nervous about the Thanksgiving table”

Presented by MASERVIC President: Carol ZA McGinnis PhD, LCPC, NCC

Come network at this workshop with other professionals who are struggling with hot topics that can complicate the Thanksgiving holiday.

These topics may connect to conflicting counselor-client beliefs and values.  We are here to help with the following questions:

    1.     What hot topics may trouble your clients?

    2.     What do you do when your client is faced with an issue that conflicts with your religious or spiritual beliefs or values?

    3.     How do we [counselors] help the clients through these issues? (*Without imposing our own values)

Register for this informative Pastoral Counseling workshop that will offer 2 NBCC approved CEs for free!

10 am – Noon on Saturday, November 10th at:
Loyola University Maryland - Timonium Graduate Center
2034 Greenspring Drive, Timonium, MD 21093
